Ida Boateng-Asare
Ida Boateng-Asare is the Beneficiary and Volunteer Coordinator for Point Hope Ghana. She has been with Point Hope Ghana since 2008 and holds a double-major Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Home Science received from the University of Ghana. Ida’s is a broad and important assignment which includes education, skills training, health, and Women's Empowerment as well as personally interacting with all the volunteers who come to work with Point Hope Ghana. She enjoys working with underserved, deprived communities and giving hope to the hopeless by helping them to help themselves and putting smiles on their faces; she has been doing this with Point Hope Ghana since 2009.
Ida is full of zeal, energetic, affable, goal-oriented and loves people. She is married to Lionel and has one son, Lemuel (affectionately known as Nana).
