EYES OF HOPE VISION CENTRE

imagine seeing things clearly for the first time in 20 years!

There is often no way a person can judge how much their vision has changed. It is all just so gradual for someone who has grown older, the lack of focus is accepted as part of life. But with corrected vision, new life and new opportunities are presented and celebrated. This is just one story that will be told—children able to see to study in the classroom, people who can now see to read whatever is before them, patients who are referred to receive more specialized care due to health needs…there will be many stories to share!

Eyes of Hope Vision Centre coming soon!

Eyes of Hope Vision Centre has found a place to belong and to be of service in the Gomoa-East District and beyond!

partnerships in place

Jim and Amy Schneider, founders of their family business in the U.S., Eyes of Faith Optical, had a vision to see an eye clinic at Point Hope Ghana, adding to the other projects positively impacting the community in which we work. They connected us with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation (OSELF), and we also found kindred spirits at Watborg Eye Services Vision Center in Ghana. Working with these esteemed institutions and Ghana Health Services, along with the support of other philanthropic individuals, Point Hope Ghana is able to move forward to establish EYES OF HOPE VISION CENTRE, coming in October 2023.

Ida Boateng-Asare is excited to receive the first shipment of equipment!

We are gratefully receiving equipment and preparing to set-up the Vision Centre,
