Dendeh "Tutugirl" Bility-Yorke
Dendeh “Tutugirl” Bility-Yorke is the Project Officer in charge of Point Hope Ghana’s Nutrition and Early Childhood Education Project at the Krisan Refugee Camp, in the Western Region of Ghana. Her involvement with Point Hope Ghana began when she was on an education scholarship to complete her Journalism degree as a Liberian refugee in Ghana, which she achieved.
Fortunately for Point Hope, Tutugirl stayed on to volunteer and eventually became an employee of Point Hope Ghana in 2010. She managed the Point Hope Buduburam Nutrition and Early Childhood Education program and then transferred to take the lead on the same project at Krisan.
Tutugirl’s love for everyone knows no bounds. She gives her best in administering her duties because seeing the smiles on the faces of people that had no hope, and those beautiful smiles from the innocent little children she feeds daily, inspire her. Tutugirl is married to Charles Yorke, who also works with refugee matters, and they have one son, Charles, Jr.
