Totes of hope 4 teens supply list

In the midst of uncertainty, we all want to have something that we can believe in, or at least have a certainty about.  The Totes of Hope 4 Teens is intended to be just that for young people, ages 11-18 years. They will understand they have something that belongs to them and it will stay with them and they don't have to share and they will, hopefully, find comfort in very uncomfortable and potentially lonely circumstances.  

Please remember donated items must be brand new, never used, with tags still on and all of the items in the bag should be for the same age/size/gender of the child indicated on the list.

11-12 year-old girl  

1 Girl's duffle bag large enough to contain the following items:

• 1-2 packages of underwear (Size L-XL, 10-12)
• 1-2 sports bra or cami/undershirt (Size Girl's L-XL or 12)
• 2-3 pairs of socks
• 1-2 comfort items (blanket/soft stuffed animal)
• 1-2 age appropriate toys (travel friendly)
•   1  kid's toothbrush & toothpaste travel set
• 1-2 girl's pajamas (Size L-XL, 12)
• 1-3 girl's outfits (Size L-XL, 12; top/bottom or comfortable dress)
• 1-2 travel-size game/cards OR art activity (jewelry making kit/craft kit)
• 1-2 flashlight (with batteries)
•   1  hairbrush/comb set
• toiletries including body wash, shampoo, deodorant, lotion and/or body spray
• menstruation pads
• 1-2 age-appropriate chapter books
• If unsure about specific size, please include Gift card for shoes, bra, etc.

11-12 year-old boy

1 Boy's duffle bag large enough to contain the following items:

• 1-2 packages of  underwear (Size M-L; 10-12)
• 2-3 pairs of socks
• 1-2 comfort items (blanket/soft stuffed animal)
• 1-2 age appropriate toys (LEGOs, Minecraft figures, Star Wars, etc.)
•   1  kid's toothbrush & toothpaste travel set/mouthwash
• 1-2 boy's pajamas (Size L or 12)
• 1-3 boy's outfits (Size L or 12; shorts/athletic pants/jeans and t-shirt)
• 1-2 travel-size game/cards OR art activity
• 1-2 flashlight (with batteries)
•   1  hairbrush/comb set
•  toiletries including body wash, shampoo, deodorant, lotion and/or body spray
• 1-2 age-appropriate chapter books
• If unsure about specific size or activities a pre-teen would like, please include Gift card for shoes, etc.

13-14 year-old girl

1 Girl's duffle bag large enough to contain the following items:

• 1-2 packages of underwear (Size XL, 14-16)
• 1-2 sports bra or cami/undershirt (Size Girl's XL or 14-16; Ladies XS-S)
• 2-3 pairs of socks
• 1-2 comfort items (blanket/soft stuffed animal)
• 1-3 age appropriate activities (jewelry/craft kits/journals/sketch pad/etc.)
•  1-2  toothbrush & toothpaste travel set w/mouthwash
• 1-2 girl's pajamas (Size XL, 14-16; Ladies XS-S)
• 1-3 girl's outfits (Size XL, 14-16; Ladies XS-S; top/bottom or comfortable dress)
• 1-2 travel-size game/cards OR art activity
• 1-2 flashlight (with batteries)
•   1  hairbrush/comb set
• toiletries including body wash, shampoo, deodorant, lotion and/or body spray
• menstruation pads & tampons
• 1-2 age-appropriate chapter books
